Illiness sidelines Jerry Hall in London

LONDON, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Illness has forced Mick Jagger's ex-wife Jerry Hall to withdraw from London's West End musical production of "High Society."

The Texas native reportedly is suffering from glandular fever and had been absent from the production for more than a week, the Daily Mail reported.

Hall, 49, said she was under doctor's orders to have a period of complete rest.

"It is with great sadness that I have to leave the cast of 'High Society' as I am suffering from Epstein Bar Virus (glandular fever) which I first fell ill with last year," she said.

Hall said she was determined to return to the show before the end of its run.

The same illness forced her to end her one-woman show, "My Darlin' Janey" last October.
