Woody Allen says life is good with Soon-Yi

NEW YORK, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- As he approaches age 70, film director Woody Allen says his marriage to 35-year-old Soon-Yi Previn has a "paternal feeling feeling to it."

Shockwaves rocked through Hollywood when Allen's longtime girlfriend, Mia Farrow, announced he had been having an affair with her adopted daughter -- who for years considered Allen to be a father figure.

Allen told Vanity Fair magazine Farrow's discovery of his nude pictures of her daughter was "one of the great pieces of luck in my life," the New York Daily News said Tuesday.

"All the women I went out with were basically my age," he said. "Now, here, it just works like magic. The very inequality of me being older and much more accomplished, much more experienced, takes away any real meaningful conflict.

"It's got a more paternal feeling to it," he said of his marriage. "I love to do things to make her happy. She loves to do things to make me happy."
