Eurythmics hush-hush on next move

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart, aka the Eurythmics, won't say what happens after the release of their first album in six years.

A best-of disc coming out next month includes the first new Eurythmics songs in years and expanded editions of the duo's entire catalog will soon be released as well, Billboard reported Monday.

Lennox and Stewart refused to speculate on what happens next, but noted they desperately needed time off after the Eurythmics' initial success.

"But we never fought," Stewart told Billboard. "We did too fight," Lennox added. "Did we?" Stewart asked.

They agreed the time off was important to "do regular things," Stewart said.

Lennox said having a family was important to her "and they don't come off the shelf."

When asked if a new album was a possibility, they laughed.

"I'm always amazed when people ask us," Lennox said. "We don't know."
