People photo goof halts press run

NEW YORK, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- People's proof of an alleged romance between Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston had one small problem -- Aniston wasn't the woman in the picture with Vaughn.

The celebrity magazine started its press run Wednesday featuring a photo of Vaughn with his arm around Aniston's movie double and the caption: "ON THE SET. Filming 'The Break Up' in August, 'they had great chemistry,' says co-star Jon Favreau," the New York Daily News reported Friday.

When the case of mistaken identity was realized, the press run was halted and the caption was changed identifying Vaughn's companion as merely an Aniston look-a-like, the Daily News said.

"What is there to say?" Aniston's rep told the newspaper. "It is just another example of the over-anxious media and their desperation to exploit the privacy of Jennifer."
