LOS ANGELES, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Pat Boone, former Ambrosia vocalist David Pack and Billy Dean have written an all-star salute to the Rev. Billy Graham.

"Thank You Billy Graham" celebrates the evangelist's 87th birthday Nov. 7, with all proceeds from the song and accompanying DVD going to Mercy Corps and Samaritan's Purse for Hurricane Katrina and Global Poverty Relief.

U2 frontman Bono gives a spoken introduction to the song, calling Graham "part poet, part preacher, a singer of the human spirit."

Among the singers and stars participating in the project are Larry King, Kenny Rogers, Michael McDonald, Leann Rimes, Jeffrey Osborne, Andre Crouch, DC Talk and Marty Stuart.

The song and DVD are available on Boone's The Gold Label in association with Oak Records.
