Holly Deveaux to play Casey Anthony
LONDON, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- The lead ballerina of London's Royal Ballet, Darcey Bussell, announced Thursday she is retiring at the end of this season.
Bussell, 36, said the decision had "not been easy," but she looks forward to spending more time with her family, the BBC said.
"I have always wanted to end my full-time career still dancing the full classical repertoire at the standard to which I aspire," she said.
Bussell joined the Royal Ballet in 1987 and became its youngest principal dancer at age 20.
She said plans to return to the ballet as a guest dancer.
