NASHVILLE, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- "American Idol" runner-up Bo Bice has an all-star lineup helping with his debut album.

Former Evanescence guitarist Ben Moody, Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger and Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora all gave him songs that make the album "a little bit of everything," Bice told MTV.com.

"People will see my mellow, acoustic side on a couple songs, then my crazy Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny Winter, jammy-type stuff, then really groovy '70s rock, revisited with a modern touch," he said. "And with some genuine lyrics about my life and things I see around me."

Bice, who is living and recording in Nashville, said he has written two songs inspired by Hurricane Katrina.

The rocker says he's taking this weekend off and heading to his home state, Alabama, to headline the 11th annual BayFest Music Festival in Mobile.
