U2 to take over Conan O'Brien's show

NEW YORK, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" is getting ready to turn its entire hour over to Irish rockers U2.

The late NBC talk show will feature Bono and crew Thursday night as its sole guests, chatting with host Conan O'Brien and of course, offering up a song or two, Zap2it.com reported Tuesday.

U2 plays the first of seven sold-out shows at New York's Madison Square Garden Friday.

Thursday will mark the first time "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" has ever spent an entire hour with only one guest.
