Oct. 1, 2005 at 10:33 PM

NEW YORK, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- "Dancing with the Stars" champion John O'Hurley is dancing his way into his Broadway debut as Billy Flynn in the Tony Award-winning musical "Chicago."

The former "Seinfeld" star will replace Huey Lewis on Jan. 16 at the Abassador Theatre, Playbill reported.

O'Hurley played Elaine's boss J. Peterman on "Seinfeld." His other TV credits include "The Mullets" and "Father of the Pride" -- and he voices King Neptune on the popular cartoon, "SpongeBob SquarePants."

His theater credits include national tours of "Pirates of Penzance," "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes," "Brigadoon" and "Same Time, Next Year."

O'Hurley recently won the dance-off competition in ABC TV's "Dancing with the Stars."
