'View' co-hosts defend S.E. Cupp over Hustler photo

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- A phony news release is circulating promoting a lecture by actor Tom Cruise on the evils of psychiatry at the Los Angeles Scientology Celebrity Center.
The release issued Tuesday says Cruise would discuss "How Psychiatry Invented Schizophrenia" and "Handling Sexual Dis-Orientation," People magazine reported Wednesday.
Cruise's attorney, Bert Fields, told Radar Online the release is "totally phony" and added, "Tom is not giving any lectures."
Fields vowed to find the author of the release "because, in my view, it's forgery, wire fraud and, apparently, committed on an interstate basis."
Fields said if Cruise were to give a lecture, "I would sell tickets."
