LOS ANGELES, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Actors Charlize Theron, Susan Sarandon, Joaquin Phoenix and Matthew Broderick were named honorees Tuesday for the 9th Annual Hollywood Film Festival.
Theron will be given the Hollywood Actress of the Year Award for her performance in "North Country" while Phoenix will receive Actor of the Year honors for his portrayal of Johnny Cash in "Walk in Line."

Broderick will be named Supporting Actor of the Year for "The Producers" and Sarandon will get Supporting Actress of the Year honors for "Elizabethtown."
The awards will be bestowed during the Hollywood Film Festival Gala Ceremony Oct. 24 at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel. The festival starts Oct. 18.
