LOS ANGELES, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- NBC is broadcasting an episode "Medium" starring Patricia Arquette in 3-D.

The paper glasses needed to view the Nov. 21 episode will be distributed in an upcoming issue of TV Guide magazine.

"Medium" creator Glenn Caron said he has wanted to do 3-D TV for a long time.

"I had wanted to do a 3-D episode of 'Moonlighting,' but at the time the technology didn't exist to make it possible," he told TVguide.com. (But) technology has come a long way."
