LOS ANGELES, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- "School of Rock" scribe Mike White is working on a film adaptation of Jon Ronson's book "Them" for Universal Pictures.
White and his partner, actor Jack Black -- who starred in "School of Rock" -- will produce the film under their Black and White banner with "Shaun of the Dead's" Edgar Wright directing, Daily Variety reported Tuesday.
The book is described as a conspiracy comedy about a woman's journey to unmask the secret rulers of the world, Variety reported.
White is currently working on "Nacho Libre," a comedy starring Black as a priest who moonlights as a wrestler to save an orphanage. Jared Hess of "Napoleon Dynamite" co-wrote the script and is directing.
Wright, meanwhile, is busy producing and directing "Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life" for Universal.
