NEW YORK, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" creator Joss Whedon says he's working on a TV movie surrounding the blond vampire, Spike.

Whedon reportedly told a fan Web site he has been talking to actors, writers and executives, "trying to put something together," the New York Post reported Thursday.

Sarah Michelle Gellar has made it clear she has no interest in reviving her TV role as the vampire slayer and "Angel" star David Boreanaz has a new TV series, "Bones," on Fox.

Meanwhile, actor James Marsters who portrayed Spike on "Buffy," is available, the Post said.
