NEW YORK, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Donald Trump has been tapped as host of the Friar's Club Celebrity Roast of boxing promoter Don King at New York's Hilton Hotel.

The boss of NBC's "The Apprentice" was tapped to head up the Oct. 28 event because he was such a good sport when it was his turn under the fire last year, Daily Variety said Tuesday.

Among the stars who have sat at the legendary table were Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldbert, Drew Cary, Richard Pryor and Hugh Hefner.
