Justin Timberlake to take on London stage

Sept. 13, 2005 at 1:31 PM

LONDON, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- U.S. pop star Justin Timberlake is crossing the big pond to star in a play at Kevin Spacey's London theater.

Timberlake and girlfriend, Cameron Diaz, will reside in the British capital for the duration of his run in Arthur Miller's "Resurrection Blues" at the Old Vic next year, hellomagazine.com reported Tuesday.

Although he's better known as a pop singer, critics praised Timberlake's turn in the film "Edison" and his acting resume will soon add the upcoming "Alpha Dog."

Hollywood director Robert Altman has agreed to steer Miller's tale of a Hispanic man who is believed to be the son of God.
