Lynch says no more 'Twin Peaks' flicks

Sept. 9, 2005 at 3:18 PM   |   Comments

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- "Twin Peaks" creator David Lynch has debunked rumors of any more big screen features based on his cult-hit TV show.

"The rumors are not true," Lynch posted on his Web site in response to widespread talk of another film coming down the pike, moviehole.net reported Friday.

At one point, Lynch had considered a final "Twin Peaks" adventure for the big screen, but he changed his mind after "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me" bombed at the box office, moviehole.net said.

The DVD of "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me" is due to hit store shelves this month including interviews with members of the cast.
