Bruce Rosenblum named Warner Bros. TV head

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Warner Bros. Executive Vice President Bruce Rosenblum has been named president of the newly created Warner Bros. Television Group.

Rosenblum will now control the WB network, the Warner Bros. TV production unit, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution syndication arm, Warner Bros. Television International and Warner Bros. Animation, the Hollywood Reporter said Friday.

Rosenblum has been with Warner Bros. since 1989.

"Bruce is one of the most talented and forward-thinking executives working in television today," Warner Bros. Chairman Barry Meyer said. "We're going to rely on his intelligence, instincts and unparalleled experience to create dynamic new business models under the banner of Warner Bros. Television Group."
