VENICE, Italy, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Actress Sienna Miller joked about her public split with fiance Jude Law while launching her movie "Casanova" at the Venice Film Festival.
Miller, 23, stars as one of the many loves of the legendary womanizer, played by Heath Ledger, 26.
"I've met a few Casanovas that I've liked, and a few that I haven't -- and I hope to meet some more," the BBC quoted Miller as saying Saturday.
Law admitted having an affair with his children's nanny while engaged to Miller, thrusting the pair onto tabloid front pages worldwide.
Miller broke off the engagement and was not wearing her diamond engagement ring in Venice, the BBC said.
"Casanova," shot in Venice, was to screen out of competition during the festival. It is scheduled to open in December in the United States and hit Britain in February.
