LAS VEGAS, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Britney Spears' may be trying to change her image in Las Vegas, whose biggest connection to her previously was a quickie marriage in 2004.
Promoter Jack Wishna told E! Online he was trying to set up a long-term relationship between Spears and a yet-to-be-named Vegas casino.
"I met with Britney, her manager and her lawyers, and we are working on a deal to bring her to the Strip for 'X'-number of weeks in 2007-2008," he said.
There was no immediate comment from Spears, 23, who is reportedly recording in her private Malibu, Calif., studio as she awaits the birth of her first child with husband, Kevin Federline.
Spears made international headlines in 2004 when she married Jason Alexander, an old high school boyfriend, in a Las Vegas chapel. The union lasted only 55 hours.
