The warrant said McCready left the state without permission and did not check in with her probation officer for the full month of July.

Since it was her second probation violation, the "Guys Do It All the Time" singer was not allowed to post bail.

McCready was on probation for fraudulently obtaining the painkiller Oxycontin from a Tennessee pharmacy in August 2004. Her first probation violation was an arrest for drunken driving and driving with a suspended license in Nashville in May.

McCready was nearly being beaten to death by boyfriend William McNight, who was charged with attempted murder in the case. Then she was charged with identity theft and other crimes related to an alleged carjacking in Arizona. Days after the Arizona charges were announced, she overdosed in Florida in what police called an attempted suicide. McNight was by her side.
