Don Ho hospitalized in Hawaii

HONOLULU, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Honolulu legend Don Ho was hospitalized with breathing problems just days after celebrating his 75th birthday.

The "Tiny Bubbles" singer was hospitalized with shortness of breath Friday and was expected to remain under doctors' observation for a few more days, KGMB-TV, Honolulu, reported.

All of Ho's scheduled shows at the Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel as well as tour set for next month have been postponed.

A spokesperson for Ho said the Hawaii and mainland shows would be rescheduled.
