LOS ANGELES, Aug. 17 (UPI) -- The Warner Music Group Wednesday announced the resignation of Atlantic Records Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jason Flom.
Atlantic Co-chairman and Chief Operating Officer Craig Kallman was named to take his place, the Hollywood Reporter said.

Flom's abrupt departure followed several months of reported tension between the veteran Atlantic executive and Warner Music Group Chairman Lyor Cohen, the Reporter said.
Cohen was made chief of the Warner Music Group in January 2004.
