LOS ANGELES, Aug. 12 (UPI) -- The company that measures the popularity of celebrities for ads says Lucille Ball is the most popular dead celeb in the United States.

Marketing Evaluations, Inc. -- inventor of the Q score to measure the popularity of celebs -- asked 1,500 adults to rank 168 deceased celebrities, E! Online reported.

Ball, star of "I Love Lucy," was No. 1 on the list, followed by Bob Hope, John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart and Red Skelton.

The Top 10 is filled out by John Ritter, Johnny Carson, Jackie Gleason, Michael Landon and Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz.
