LOS ANGELES, Aug. 12 (UPI) -- Grammy-winner Pharrell Williams has been named "Best Dressed Man in the World" by Esquire magazine.

The Neptunes vocalist and hip-hop producer was No. 1 in the magazine's second annual list of snappy dressers for "injecting dressed-up luxury into hip-hop style," Zap2it.com reported Friday.

Williams upended last year's No. 1, Outkast's Andre 3000 (now calling himself Andre Benjamin) who fell to No. 5 on the list.

Other musicians on the list include Coldplay's Chris Martin, Kanye West, Franz Ferdinand's Alex Kapranos, rapper Jay-Z and all the guys of My Morning Jacket. Actors on the list include George Clooney, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jude Law, Josh Lucas, Luke Wilson and Paul Bettany.

Donald Trump, Matt Lauer, former President Bill Clinton, Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi and U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan are also cited as snappy dressers.
