DeGeneres in as Emmy Awards host

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 12 (UPI) -- The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced Friday Ellen DeGeneres will serve as host of the Primetime Emmy Awards for a third time.

The 57th annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be broadcast live on CBS Sept. 18 from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

DeGeneres served as Emmys host in 2001 and was part of a team of hosts in 2002, the Hollywood Reporter said.
