MALIBU, Calif., Aug. 7 (UPI) -- Police in Malibu, Calif., Sunday investigated the firing of a pellet gun into a group of photographers staking out pregnant pop star Britney Spears.
One photographer was hit in the leg by a pellet Saturday night and suffered an injury decribed by police as "below minor."

Brad Diaz was among 15 to 20 photographers gathered about 200 feet from a home Spears was believed to have been visiting, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. Steve Smith told the Los Angeles Times.
"They put a county Band-Aid on him and transported him away in an ambulance," Smith said. "If there's anything below minor, that's what the injury was."
