LOS ANGELES, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Jose Canseco's tell-all book about major league baseball and steroids may be made into a feature film.

Producer Bob DeBrino has purchased the rights to Canseco's "Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant 'Roids, Smash Hits, and How Baseball Got Big," the Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday.

DeBrino, by the way, is a former New York cop and Canseco's manager, the Reporter said. Among his production credits is the upcoming Sidney Lumet drama, "Find Me Guilty."

Canseco is currently part of the celebrity ensemble on VH1's reality show, "The Surreal Life."
