KINGMAN, Ariz., July 30 (UPI) -- Country singer Mindy McCready was still recovering from her Florida suicide attempt, so a judge in Arizona judge rescheduled her arraignment there.
McCready is charged with unlawful use of a means of transportation and hindering prosecution in Kingman, Ariz. Although police have not released details, E! Online says McCready and a companion allegedly stole a truck and forced a woman to come along with them.
McCready's arraignment was supposed to take place Friday, but at the request of her attorney, it was reset for Aug. 30.
McCready, 29, was hospitalized in Tampa, Fla., for five days after being found unconscious in a hotel lobby from an overdose of drugs and alcohol. Police there said she would not face any charges for the suicide attempt.
