Rude Aussies disrupt Corgan show

MELBOURNE, July 29 (UPI) -- U.S. rocker Billy Corgan cursed out hecklers and stormed off the stage, ending a solo concert in Melbourne, Australia.

The former frontman for The Smashing Pumpkins lost his patience with repeated interruptions from fans wanting to hear his old band's material, Britain's XFM radio reported on its Web site Friday.

Corgan is touring in support of his new solo record "TheFutureEmbrace." Hecklers, expecting a rock show Wednesday night, refused Corgan's request that they let him "live my life for today," and persisted in shouting, XFM said.

Corgan finally snapped and used a four-letter epithet commonly used in rock concerts and stomped off stage.
