GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo., July 27 (UPI) -- Colorado recently got a taste of its own Hurricane Dennis -- Dennis Rodman, that is.
Rodman, 44, was ticketed twice for speeding as he passed through Colorado in the cross-country "Bullrun" charity rally.
The former NBA bad boy's gold and black Lamborghini was clocked at 98 mph near Frisco and 89 mph near Garfield County, state police said.
A gas station attendant in Glenwood Springs, Colo., charged Rodman stopped and gassed up, shortchanged him $20 and swiped a cowboy hat, the Glenwood Post Independent reported.
Rodman, however, claims he paid for the gas in full and the hat was given to him as a gift by a female employee.
"If they want me to pay for the hat, I'll give them double for it," he said.
As for those speeding tickets, Rodman says he will fight them in court.
