Rolling Stones' new album 'A Bigger Bang'

The album due out Sept. 6 will be the British rockers' first studio recording since the 1997 "Bridges to Babylon."

The title, "A Bigger Bang," reflects the group's fascination with the Big Bang Theory about the origin of the universe, Virgin said in a news release.

The 16-track album was produced by Don Was and The Glimmer Twins.

The Stones kick off a 35-date world tour in support of the album Aug. 21 at Boston's Fenway Park.
