'View' co-hosts defend S.E. Cupp over Hustler photo

LOS ANGELES, July 22 (UPI) -- "Species" actress Natasha Henstridge will play a recurring role in ABC's new Geena Davis drama, "Commander in Chief."
Henstridge, 30, will portray an assisant to the speaker of the House, played by Hollywood veteran Donald Sutherland, the Hollywood Reporter said Friday.
Davis is in the title role as the nation's first female president.
In addition to "Species," Henstridge appeared in the films "The Whole Nine Yards" and its sequel. On the small screen, she was seen in the syndicated series "She Spies" and most recently opposite James Brolin in the Lifetime original movie, "Widow on the Hill."
"Commander in Chief" is scheduled to run Tuesdays at 9 p.m.
