LOS ANGELES, July 21 (UPI) -- CBS is airing four episodes of UPN's critically hailed series, "Veronica Mars," to try and drum up viewers before the next season starts.
Back-to-back episodes will air on CBS starting Friday, July 29, Zap2it.com reported Thursday. The other two episodes will run Aug. 5 and Aug. 12.
"Veronica Mars" will become the first UPN show to air over its larger Viacom sister network, Zap2it.com said.
UPN Entertainment President Dawn Ostroff said "Veronica Mars" needs more exposure to gain "real traction."
"By airing these episodes on America's No. 1 network, CBS, our hope is that even more people will discover how wonderful this drama is and become loyal viewers in the fall," she said.
