VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 20 (UPI) -- "Goodfellas" star Ray Liotta has joined the cast of the fantasy film, "Dungeon Siege."
The movie being directed by Uwe Boll is based on the computer game of the same name, the Hollywood Reporter said Wednesday.
The story starts just like the game, with a town being attacked by evil "krugs" and a reluctant hero emerges to lead assorted creatures in fighting back.
Liotta will play the evil sorcerer Gallian along with Jason Statham as the hero, Farmer, and Ron Perlman, Burt Reynolds, Matthew Lillard, John Rhys-Davies and Leelee Sobieski.
The project is filming in Vancouver, British Columbia, and geared for a summer 2006 release.
