NEW YORK, July 20 (UPI) -- Former "Golden Girls" star Rue McClanahan says her former co-star, Estelle Getty, is "not well at all."
"(Getty is) Not well at all, not well at all," Rue told "Entertainment Tonight" Wednesday. "Estelle doesn't know anything about having done a show called 'Golden Girls.' She doesn't recognize any of us; doesn't recognize us in person and doesn't recognize us over the phone. And she can't really carry on a conversation anymore.
"She's got the same disease, I was told, that Dudley Moore died of," she said. "I don't know what it's called. It's not Alzheimer's, and it's not Lou Gehrig's, and it's not Parkinson's. You can't think anymore."
McClanahan is starring in "Wicked" on Broadway and has a Hallmark TV movie, "Back To You & Me," airing Saturday.
