LOS ANGELES, July 16 (UPI) -- Despite soft ratings, HBO has ordered a third season of its Emmy-nominated and critically hailed comedy, "Entourage."
HBO President and Chief Executive Officer Chris Albrecht announced the show's pickup Friday during the TV Critics Association July press tour in Beverly Hills, Zap2it.com reported Saturday.
Albrecht said he didn't have many details on the deal, which was just completed, but he said the network would try for "as many episodes as we can get."
Actor Jeremy Piven got an Emmy nod Thursday for his role as Hollywood agent Ari Gold and David Frankel was nominated for directing the pilot episode.
Fewer than 2 million viewers have tuned in to watch as rising star Vincent Chase and his three buddies navigate Hollywood, Zap2it.com said.
