'Wedding Crasher' says no spouse work

July 14, 2005 at 1:01 PM   |   Comments

LONDON, July 14 (UPI) -- Australian actress Isla Fisher says she will never work on a movie with her fiance British comic Sacha Baron Cohen.

"I mean how successful are married, working relationships? the star of "Wedding Crashers" told Reveal magazine. "Who's worked together and come out of it at the other end? I feel like it's the kiss of death."

Sean Penn and Madonna and Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are just two celebrity couples that crumbled after filming flops together.

Fisher said married or engaged couples should expect critics to pan their films because starring alongside a significant other is a sure way of destroying an actor's credibility, the Sun reported.
