Brad Pitt hospitalized with flu

LOS ANGELES, July 12 (UPI) -- Actor Brad Pitt is hospitalized in Los Angeles with flu-like symptoms, "Access Hollywood" reported Tuesday.

Pitt, 41, checked himself into an undisclosed hospital Monday night, publicist Cindy Guagenti told the TV tabloid entertainment-gossip show. There were no other details and the name of the hospital wasn't disclosed for security reasons.

Pitt was in Ethiopia last week with actress Angelina Jolie to pick up her adopted baby girl, but Guagenti said it wasn't known if he picked up illness in Africa.

"I think he has the flu," she said.
