CORONA, Calif., July 9 (UPI) -- Multiple Grammy-winning U.S. recording artist Amy Grant has announced she will star in a new television series on NBC entitled "Three Wishes."

"When I heard about this show, I was extremely moved by NBC and the production company's concept to provide incredibly positive changes in the lives of different people," Grant said in statement.

Meanwhile, Stage 1 at Candlewalk in Corona, Calif., announced Grant would perform a concert Aug. 13 to benefit Royal Family Kids Camp.

Founded in 1985, Royal Family Kids Camp has grown into an international organization and one of nation's leading networks of camps for abused, neglected and abandoned children.
