Potter's Rowling tops authors hall of fame

SEATTLE, July 8 (UPI) -- J.K. Rowling, creator of "Harry Potter" and his fellow wizards, was named No. 1 on the first authors hall of fame chosen by Amazon.com.

Spencer Johnson, Nora Roberts, Dan Brown and Dr. Seuss rounded out the top five of the 23 authors chosen,

Next came John Grisham, Stephen King, J.R.R. Tolkien, Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins and Jim Collins.

Amazon will choose its favorite musicians and movies next week.
