Fergie, Duhamel reported engaged

NEW YORK, July 8 (UPI) -- Fergie, the singer from Black Eyed Peas and Hollywood actor Josh Duhamel are engaged after a whirlwind romance, according to the Star.

The two began dating in October after Duhamel broke up with model Kristy Pierce, his fiancee, World Entertainment News Network reported Friday.

Duhamel proposed in Philadelphia last weekend, where Fergie had been performing at the Live 8 concert.

"I know she isn't telling many people yet because she doesn't want it all over," a source told the Star. "But she is very happy. I don't think she knows what kind of wedding she wants yet, but I can see her just running off and eloping."
