LOS ANGELES, July 3 (UPI) -- Nashville's Kimberley Locke, a second season "American Idol" finalist, has been named the face behind the Lane Bryant's Seven7 designer jeans collection.

The Curb recording artist will appear in the advertising and marketing campaign for the new Seven7 Jean Collection, featuring designer styles for plus-size women sizes 14-28 in Lane Bryant stores beginning July 11.

"Being in the public eye gives me the opportunity to show people that women who are just like me, who are curvy, voluptuous, and have full figures can be beautiful, too," says Locke.

The former housemate of Clay Aiken had hit singles "8th World Wonder," "Wrong" and "You've Changed" that come from her debut album, "One Love."
