LOS ANGELES, June 29 (UPI) -- Columbia Records has announced a release date and a song lineup for the soundtrack for the upcoming movie "The Dukes of Hazzard."

The track list -- led by star Jessica Simpson's cover of Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" -- features Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble's "Pride and Joy"; the James Gang's "Funk #49"; Molly Hatchet's "Flirtin' with Disaster"; and a live version of the Allman Brothers Band's "One Way Out," Billboard reported Wednesday.

The soundtrack also features a new version of "Good Ol' Boys," the late Waylon Jennings' theme song for "The Dukes of Hazzard" TV show. The remake is sung by Jennings' close friend and frequent collaborator Willie Nelson, who stars in the film as Uncle Jesse.

Simpson's song and the accompanying Brett Ratner-directed video can be sampled on Simpson's official Web site.

The film opens Aug. 5 in U.S. theaters.
