HOLLYWOOD, June 23 (UPI) -- Bravo revives "Battle of the Network Stars" this summer with a twist -- everyone in the cable TV program will be a former reality show contestant.
Thirty-two people from 16 reality shows will be in the six-part series that premiers Aug. 17, Zap2it.com reported.
Contestants include the first "Swan," Rachel Love Frasier; "Big Brother 2" contestant Mike "Boogie" Malin; "Survivor" foes Susan Hawk and Richard Hatch; and "American Idol" rejects Nikki McKibbin and Ryan Starr.
Bravo parent NBC briefly attempted to revive "Battle of the Network Stars," which debuted in 1976, two years ago.
Veterans of the earlier version -- including Lou Ferrigno, Loretta Swit and Jimmie Walker -- will be referees.
