Lauren Sanchez hosts dance reality series

LOS ANGELES, June 19 (UPI) -- Lauren Sanchez, who reports on entertainment for Fox's KTTV-TV in Los Angeles, will host the new reality series "So You Think You Can Dance," on Fox.

The show, premiering July 20, is billed as the "ultimate search for the best dancer in the United States."

"So You Think You Can Dance," was created by "American Idol's" Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe, who are also executive producers along with Allen Shapiro.

Sanchez serves as anchor/reporter for "Fox Sports News Tonight" and is a correspondent for "The Best Damn Sports Show Period" and "Goin' Deep."

Sanchez has appeared in several films, including "Fight Club" and "The Longest Yard." She will appear in "Fantastic Four" starring Jessica Alba and Chris Evans.
