'View' co-hosts defend S.E. Cupp over Hustler photo
LOS ANGELES, June 16 (UPI) -- Teen star Hilary Duff said she had her eardrum pierced so she could continue flying around the United States while getting over a bad cold.
"I've been traveling a lot. I was in New York and then I went to (Washington) D.C. and then coming back (to Los Angeles)," Duff told World Entertainment News Network.
The 17-year-old Duff said she caught a cold, which was aggravated by the varying climates and air travel.
"I got on the plane and I couldn't even breathe or talk and I had to get like a needle poked through my eardrum so it would relieve pressure because I have to fly at like 6 o'clock in the morning," Duff said.
