HOLLYWOOD, June 14 (UPI) -- Showtime has picked up four pilot dramas about a likeable serial killer, gorgeous prostitutes, a scheming lawyer and Britain's notorious King Henry VIII.
"Dexter," from writer James Manos Jr. and producer John Goldwyn, is among the four dramas that will bow this fall on Showtime.
The other three are "Filthy Gorgeous" by writer Ron Nyswaner and producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, "The Bastard" by writer Robert Greenwalt and "The Tudors" by writer Michael Hirst and producers Ben Silverman, Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The shows join unconventional themes and settings chosen by Showtime Entertainment President Robert Greenblatt.
