NEW YORK, June 3 (UPI) -- Two of the New York City Ballet's brightest stars, who have been dancing at their best, are retiring.
Peter Boal and Jock Soto, both age 40, have signed to teach at the School of American Ballet, the New York Post reported Friday. Boal will also become director of the Pacific North West Ballet in Seattle.
Soto, who joined the company in 1981, and Boal, who joined in 1983, both performed Wednesday in George Balanchine's "Agon." The same night, Wendy Whelan and Soto starred in Jerome Robbins' ballet "The Cage."
