Loggins & Messina set for U.S. tour

LOS ANGELES, May 28 (UPI) -- For the first time in nearly 30 years, Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina will have a U.S. tour.

The "Sittin' In Again Reunion Tour," presented by AEG/Concerts West, begins June 24 in Boise, Idaho, at the Idaho Center Amphitheatre and has 40 concert dates scheduled.

Since the debut release of Loggins & Messina's "Sittin' In," was a hit album in 1972, the duo has had a series of gold and platinum records and has sold more than 16 million in record sales including "Your Mama Don't Dance," "Vahevala," "House At Pooh Corner," "Angry Eyes" and "Danny's Song."

Both Loggins and Messina will perform solo material on the tour and will feature a "Sittin' In" segment that will allow other musical guests to join them onstage.
